Bicycle Fiji – Terms and Conditions


1. Introduction

Welcome to Kai Transportation PTE Ltd. t/a Bicycle Fiji. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including e-bike rentals, guided tours, bike servicing, and cycling lessons, provided by Bicycle Fiji (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By booking, using our services, or visiting our website (www.bicyclefiji.com), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with the booking or use of our services.

2. E-Bike Rentals

  • Eligibility: Renters must be at least 16 years of age and possess valid identification.

  • Helmet Use: Helmets are mandatory and provided at no additional cost.

  • Responsibility: You are responsible for the bike during the rental period. Damage, theft, or loss may result in repair or replacement charges.

  • Return Policy: Bikes must be returned at the agreed time and location. Late returns may incur additional fees.

  • Security Bond: A $100 bond is collected at the time of rental and is refundable upon safe return of the bike.

3. Guided Tours

  • Booking: Tours must be booked in advance through our website or at a registered outlet.

  • Minimum Participants: A minimum of two persons is required per tour.

  • Cancellations: A full refund will be provided for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled tour. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours unless due to weather or safety issues.

  • Participation: Riders must meet minimum fitness and safety standards as assessed by our guides. We reserve the right to refuse participation for safety reasons.

4. Bike Servicing

  • Drop-off and Pick-up: All bikes must be picked up within 3 days of service completion unless otherwise arranged.

  • Liability: We take utmost care during servicing but are not responsible for pre-existing damage.

5. Cycling Lessons

  • Parental Consent: For participants under 18, written consent from a parent or guardian is required.

  • Safety Gear: All learners must wear helmets and appropriate gear during lessons.

6. General Liability

  • Assumption of Risk: By using our services, you accept all inherent risks related to cycling, including physical injury, equipment failure, or natural conditions.

  • Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold Bicycle Fiji harmless from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your participation in any activity.

  • Insurance: We recommend having personal travel or health insurance that covers cycling-related activities.

7. Insurance Policy 

We offer optional insurance to reduce your liability in the case of accidental damage, theft, or loss during the rental period. 
  • Insurance must be selected and paid for before or at the time of rental.
  • No refunds for unused insurance.
  • Claims must be accompanied by a completed incident report and photo evidence where applicable.
  • Intentional damage, negligence, or breach of the rental agreement voids the policy.

8. Website Use

  • Content: All content on our website is the intellectual property of Bicycle Fiji unless stated otherwise. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

  • Errors: We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that all information is current or error-free.

9. Privacy

Your personal data is collected for service provision only and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data without consent.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be posted on our website.
